ACLS Provider (Initial) Course Description The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course is the AHA preferred course for Experienced Providers. The ACLS Provider Course includes Precourse Work that must be complete before class. Prerequisites Must be proficient in ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work through eLearning.heart.org/course/424. Please allow 3-4 hours to complete the Precourse. CE/CME/CEU There will be 3.0 hours of CE credit awarded to those who are in healthcare professions that qualify, for completing the Precourse Work. Certification American Heart Association ACLS Provider eCard (valid for 2 years) is issued upon sucessful completion of the course. Manual A current edition of the American Heart Association ACLS Provider Manual or eBook is REQUIRED to attend class. The manual/ebook is sold separately and not included in the cost of the course.
